What’s most important in your life is not what others tell you, but what you decide matters most. Each decision, whether big or small, leaves an imprint and shapes who you are becoming.
When you opened your eyes this morning, what was the first thing on your mind? Was it a person, or an obligation? At the top of your To Do list, is it someone you want to connect with or another obligation or chore? It’s worth pausing to ask yourself: have I made room today for love? For kindness? For an act of selflessness, or a moment of stillness? There is no right or wrong here, but each of these seemingly small choices builds the life you are living and leads you in the direction you are heading.
Behind every goal or intention is a reason – a WHY. Your why is what holds you steady when you can’t find your motivation, or it momentarily slips away. It is what grounds you when challenges and obstacles test your commitment and threaten to throw you off balance. It is the reminder of what truly matters when others say, “maybe you shouldn’t aim so high” or “perhaps you should just settle, at least for now“. In the same way that people don’t want a drill, they want the hole it creates, your focus is never just on the intention itself, but on what the outcome will bring to your life.

One of the common obstacles we will face is immediate gratification. We want results now. Waiting is uncomfortable and can be frustrating. Sometimes we are tempted to push and force life into our own timeline, which, in my experience, rarely works. There is a deeper wisdom at play, one that reminds us that everything unfolds in the right way at the right time. I don’t believe in coincidences. I believe the Universe presents the perfect alignment of timing and growth, even if accepting this is uncomfortable.
One of the greatest gifts we were given when we came here is free choice. With it, we get to ‘create our own adventure’. We decide what we will pursue and what we will walk away from, what we will tolerate, and what we will no longer accept, what is important in any given moment, and what is not. This power can feel exhilarating, but it can also feel heavy at times because it comes with great responsibility. We are the creators of our lives, the authors of our stories. Sometimes the path toward what we really want is rocky and uneven; it demands staying power in the face of doubt, resistance, and the voice in our own head whispering, “I can’t.”
So here’s what I think. Every time you choose to keep going, every time you choose to stay aligned with what matters most, you are intentionally creating and stepping closer to the life you truly want to live. Every decision carries its own outcomes. Each one shapes the path ahead. The question is: will you succumb to distractions or settle, or will you honour your deeper self, keep going, and create something extraordinary?
Much Love
